Identity

The misconceptions we have today are based upon the principles we were taught in the early stages of life, in a sense we are but a mirror image of those whom have taught us how to be and how to live. It is for this reason that it is so hard for the common man to find his way out of a life of mediocrity. The upbringing of new youth should be founded on the principles of independence and embracing one’s own perspective on the world, yet as we are said to be in such an advanced age of technology our mind stands in the distance… watching, wondering, and searching for a path. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of self-proclaimed innovation yet somehow, we have turmoil of global proportions over the concepts of religion… as if another person’s beliefs are of any importance to our own. The weak mind may be swayed by the screech of mediocrity but a mind bent on independence and personal development knows no bounds.
